The climate of Kuwait City

What is the capital of Kuwait? Kuwait City is the capital city of Kuwait. This place is the eponymous capital of the country of Kuwait, located in the Middle East, between Saudi Arabia and Iraq. The city is centrally located in the country, on the Persian Gulf. As with several countries in this part of the world, oil is Kuwait’s largest export. The capital, as the economic center of the country, plays a major role in this. In addition, Kuwait City is the center of culture. Kuwait is the only one around the Persian Gulf with theatrical traditions and Kuwait soap operas are also popular in this part of the world. What makes the city a tourist attraction are the marinas, shopping centers, luxury restaurants and of course the beaches. According to the Köppen climate classification, Kuwait has a desert climate. During the summer, it is even one of the warmest cities in the world. The highest temperatures are recorded in July and August. The maximum temperature is then on average at 47 degrees. During heat waves it can easily reach 50 degrees or more. From May to September there is no precipitation in Kuwait. Also during the other months of the year this chance is quite small.
