What is the capital of Chad? N’Djamena is the capital of the African country of Chad. The city is located in the west of the country, close to the border with neighboring Cameroon. N’Djamena was founded by the French in the year 1900 and has now grown to approximately one million inhabitants.
N’Djamena has a warm steppe climate, with about seven hundred millimeters of precipitation on an annual basis.
