The climate of Yerevan

What is the capital of Armenia? The capital of Armenia called Yerevan is located approximately in the center of the country. The city is the largest in the country. Yerevan is not only one of the oldest cities, but also one of the safest cities in the world. A well-known monument is the Cascade of Yerevan. This monument is a staircase of 572 steps. Once you have climbed these stairs you can enjoy the view of the capital. Just outside Yerevan stands a 44 meter high monument called Tsitsernakaberd. The monument was built in memory of the Armenian genocide. In addition, there is a museum dedicated to this genocide. Both the monument and the museum are worth a visit when you are in Yerevan. Yerevan has a steppe climate. This means that it is quite dry throughout the year. In the month of May you can expect the largest amount of precipitation. The average for this month is about 54mm.
