According to wholevehicles, Ghana is located in West Africa and is bordered by Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Togo. It has an area of 238,537 square kilometers (92,085 sq mi). The terrain of Ghana is mostly low plains with some hills in the south and north-central regions. The highest point in Ghana is the Mount Afadjato which stands at 885 meters (2,904 ft). The northern part of the country is mainly savannah while the southern parts are mostly tropical rainforest. There are five major rivers which run through Ghana including the Volta River, Black Volta River, Oti River, Pra River and Tano River. The climate in Ghana varies depending on the region but generally it is hot and humid all year round with two distinct seasons: a wet season from April to November and a dry season from December to March. Rainfall varies from region to region but it generally ranges from 750mm to 2500mm per year. During the wet season there can be heavy rains that cause flooding in some areas. In terms of natural resources, Ghana has abundant gold reserves as well as other minerals such as bauxite, manganese ore and diamond deposits.
