According to wholevehicles, Guinea-Bissau is a small country located on the western coast of Africa. It is bordered by Senegal to the north, Guinea to the east, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The country is relatively flat, with an average elevation of just under 100 meters above sea level. The land consists of mostly low-lying coastal plains and savannahs in the interior. There are several rivers that flow through Guinea-Bissau, including the Cacheu, Geba, Mansoa, and Corubal Rivers. The highest point in Guinea-Bissau is 300 meters above sea level at Mount Lagoa M’bari in the southeastern corner of the country. The climate of Guinea-Bissau is tropical with two distinct seasons: a dry season from November to April and a wet season from May to October. This wet season brings heavy rainfall and flooding throughout much of the country. Temperatures remain fairly constant throughout most of the year but can reach up to 40°C during peak summer months. The wildlife in Guinea-Bissau is diverse due to its location on both sides of Africa’s equator line. Animals such as elephants, hippos, antelopes, monkeys, and even leopards can be found here among other species. It also has a large variety of birds such as pelicans, storks, guineafowls and many more species that migrate here for nesting during certain times of year. Additionally there are over 200 species of fish that inhabit its rivers and coastline which provide great opportunities for fishing as well as an important source of food for many local communities across this country.
